We are on the right track, Friends! We ARE making a difference and on the verge of a massive shift, and this blog is about how we can push things over the tipping point through our collective action. WE ARE A TEAM! And we must NOT grow weary! We are 16 months into this nightmare, and we are facing another fall and winter season– COVID is a seasonal illness, just like every other flu and respiratory virus– and all of the predictive programming in the media and from our officials is telling us that this will be another “Dark Winter”– even darker than the previous one, perhaps. Early on in this exercise in totalitarianism, most of us quickly realized that we had made a big mistake by succumbing to the messages of safety over freedom and “the common good” over individual rights. And once we came to this realization, it was too late to reverse the damage that had been done– we were reeling in our ignorance about the Constitution and how to exercise our rights in the face of tyranny! But, like a butterfly learning to flutter its wings after emerging from its cocoon, we too have developed the muscle necessary to create this shift in order to topple the regime! Oh yes, we have tried many seemingly ineffective methods to regain our freedoms: writing letters and emails to our officials, attending meetings and speaking out during public comments, attending mass protests, non-compliance with mandates, posting on social media and other places, meeting with key people in power, bringing in speakers who have a part of the answer, filing legal notices (most recently Criminal Complaints), and just plain speaking up to friends, family, neighbors and coworkers. All of these methods have had an impact, and they have strengthened us for this moment in history. The last method is the one that will be covered here in detail: Speaking Up! I have been meditating on an article by Julius Ruechel entitled “The Emperor Has No Clothes: Finding the Courage to Break the Spell” in which he dissects the psychology of dissent. Based on the title of this article, he builds the case for being courageous enough to step out and break the illusion of consensus by speaking the truth, no matter what the cost. You watch Kate Wand interview Julius about his article here:
In his article, Julius makes the point that while most people are more relaxed and less fearful since they have received the COVID jabs, this means that they are now more able to think rationally and hear sound reasoning. This does not mean that they are ready to receive cold, hard data and facts (yet), but rather we can sow a seed of doubt in those who have consumed nothing but fear-mongering propaganda for nearly the last year and a half. Julius outlines three different ways that doubt can occur on a deeply subconscious level:
- Absence of fear – the mind can think clearly and logically vs being in “fight or flight”
- Personal experience doesn’t match propaganda – vaccine injuries, seeing a loved one trapped in a nursing home, a business at risk of shutting down/ already shut down permanently due to lockdowns
- Depriving someone of the illusion of consensus
“Doubt creates conflicting emotions that can only be resolved by enlisting the rational mind. Doubt leads the mind to seek out data, not the other way around.” All of the methods listed above in which we have engaged are in the same realm as data. They will all be dismissed, according to Ruechel, until the spell of the illusion of consensus is broken. But, “To have a psychological impact, you have to voice your dissent IN PERSON, out there in the real world where the risk of repercussions is real. Where you can make EYE CONTACT while you are doing it. At work, at home, at school, at church, at the gym, at the mall, and out on the street. You have to say it where those who disagree with you can SEE you saying it.” More and more, we are seeing doctors speak up, lawyers speak up, parents speak up on behalf of their children, children speak up for themselves, etc. Many of you have spoken up too– KEEP IT UP! DON’T SHUT UP! Say it more often and to more people! Our liberty is at stake– a future of freedom without bloodshed is diminished every time we remain silent or comply “When speech is silenced, whether through cancel culture mobbing, Big Tech censorship, or outright legal attacks like those currently being attempted by [the Biden Administration with Big Tech], this raises the cost of self-defense beyond a threshold that most people are willing or even capable of bearing… The only way to prevent brute force politics from becoming normalized is if the good people refuse to shut up… That is why the Founding Fathers made freedom of speech the very first right when they drafted the U.S. Bill of Rights. Peaceful resolution of conflict in a civil society depends on everyone having absolute freedom of speech. In a civil society, all other rights flow from this right. Without freedom of speech, all that remains as a tool to defend yourself is brute force. Our voices are our last defense as the institutions of liberal democracy fall away. Use your voices while you still can because, if freedom of speech is lost, we will be ushering in a world governed by brute force and the tyranny will be real no matter which side gains controls over the levers of power.” Here are a few questions to sow seeds of doubt in those who have swallowed the blue pill– start with just one:
- “Do you know anyone who has had an adverse reaction to “the vaccine?”
- “Have you noticed anything different about your health since you got “the vaccine?”
- “Did you know that as of July 16, 2021 nearly 12,000 people have died in the U.S. after receiving “the vaccine?” Source: https://www.openvaers.com/covid-data
- “Do you find it strange that the government is pushing “the vaccine” so heavily? Vaccine lotteries, scholarships for college, bonuses to healthcare workers, etc.
- “Do you find it concerning that the White House is working with Big Tech to censor what they consider to be misinformation?” Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C95EmUU0RBw
“A right comes with the responsibility to exercise that right when your or anyone else’s rights are under attack. Rights derive their legitimacy only through the willingness of citizens to defend them, for themselves and for each other. If the willingness to speak your mind in public is missing, you have no rights.” “Change begins with a committed minority that refuses to be cowed… Once an idea is adopted by 10% of the population, research shows that this is the psychological tipping point when ideas, opinions, or beliefs will be rapidly adopted by the rest of population. A noisy 10% is all it takes. Our freedom is not as far out of reach as my may think.” Continue to stand firm and speak up. And when you have already stood up and spoken up, keep standing up and speaking up! This takes perseverance! Do it for those who have no voice– we are their voice! Do it for the children!
